How We Review APKs

No download button goes live on this site until the file has passed our bench. Here is the exact process, in order:

1. File verification

We confirm the version number and file size against the distributed release, then check the APK signature to make sure the file is intact and unmodified.

2. Malware scanning

The file is scanned with multiple independent malware engines. A single credible detection stops publication until the file is re-verified.

3. Real-device installation

We install the APK on real hardware: currently a Galaxy A55 (Android 15), a Pixel 8 (Android 16), a Redmi Note 13 Pro (Android 14) and an Android TV box. We record install time, first-launch behavior and the permissions the app actually requests.

4. Hands-on testing

Our reviewer uses the app the way a viewer would: live channels, movie playback at multiple qualities, series resume points, kids mode, subtitles and the TV interface with a physical remote. Playback stability, buffering behavior and crashes are logged.

5. Ongoing checks

When a new build appears, the process repeats from step one. If a published file ever fails a re-check, the download is pulled the same day.
