When Xuper TV for Android stops working, the cause is almost always one of seven things, and all of them are fixable at home. Work through these in order; most people are watching again by fix three. If you have not installed the app yet, start with the Xuper TV APK install guide instead.
Fix 1: Force-close and reopen
Swipe the app away from your recent apps and launch it fresh. This clears transient glitches in the channel list and the player, and it resolves a surprising number of “won’t load” reports in under 30 seconds.
Fix 2: Check your connection
Run a speed test. Live TV needs a steady few megabits; if your connection is dipping, drop one quality level in the player settings or move closer to your router. The buffering fix guide goes deeper on connection-side causes.
Fix 3: Clear the app cache
Go to Settings, Apps, Xuper TV, Storage, and tap Clear cache (not Clear data). A bloated or corrupt thumbnail cache is a classic cause of blank shelves and slow loading, and clearing it loses nothing important.
Fix 4: Update to the latest build
An old build talking to refreshed servers is a common failure mode. Grab the latest build from our download page and install it over your current copy; your favorites survive the update.
Fix 5: Free up storage
If your device is nearly full, the app cannot cache streams and playback stutters or fails. Free up a few hundred megabytes and try again.
Fix 6: Restart the device
A full reboot clears stuck network stacks and zombie processes that survive an app force-close. On Android TV boxes this fixes more than people expect.
Fix 7: Clean reinstall
Uninstall the app completely, restart the device, then install the fresh APK. This wipes corrupt data and is the last resort that resolves nearly everything short of a hardware problem.
