Xuper TV Review: Two Weeks With the Free Streaming App

An honest Xuper TV review after two weeks of daily use: live TV, movies, kids mode, performance on four devices, and whether it is worth installing.

We ran Xuper TV APK download site’s app as our daily streaming app for two weeks across four devices before writing this review. The short version: it is one of the most complete free streaming packages on Android for its 37 MB size, with a kids lane and a TV interface that genuinely stand out. The longer version follows, including the flaws.

The daily experience

Day to day, the app behaves like a well-organized TV service. The home screen’s lane layout makes it fast to answer “what are we watching tonight,” live channels start quickly in the latest build, and the continue-watching row reliably remembered our place across restarts. We installed the verified build from our download page on a Galaxy A55, a Pixel 8, a Redmi Note 13 Pro and an Android TV box.

What impressed us

The kids lane is the standout: separated, simple and actually populated with content, it solves the real household problem of handing a child a streaming app. The Android TV interface is the other highlight, with proper remote navigation and big tiles that make the app feel native on a television. Playback was stable at 1080p on Wi-Fi across all four test devices, and the automatic quality fallback handled a weak hotel connection gracefully during travel testing.

What did not

There is no offline download mode, which matters for commutes and flights. The live channel roster rotates, so a favorite channel can vanish between weeks. And on the oldest test device, 1080p over a slow connection needed a manual drop to 720p before the auto-fallback kicked in. None of these are unusual for the category, but they are real.

Who it is for

Families who want one app for movie night, kids’ cartoons and background live TV will get the most from the app. Power users who need offline downloads should look elsewhere; everyone else, install it and give it an evening.

The score

4.3 out of 5. A complete, stable, genuinely free streaming app with two standout features and honest, livable trade-offs. The homepage has the specs, screenshots and download if you are ready.

Quick answers

Is Xuper TV worth installing?

Yes for most viewers, especially families. The kids lane, TV interface and stable playback outweigh the lack of offline downloads.

How was this review conducted?

Two weeks of daily use on four real devices, covering live TV, movies, series, kids mode, subtitles and the TV interface, after the standard malware and signature verification.

What is the biggest downside?

No offline download mode. If you need to watch without a connection, that is the deal-breaker to know about upfront.
